Job Description
This position will work in the supply chain management team (Purchasing).
Responsibilities
- Work with Purchasing representatives from other plants or regions to resolve or escalating any supply issues related to cost, delivery, or quality.
- Purchase materials/services online in line with existing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Production Control and Logistics team to resolve any material shortages or commercial matters.
- Obtain supplier capacity data and communicate it to the team for decision‑making purposes.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers for new and current programs, and upload quote information into the GQS system.
- Coordinate supplier relationships with other Borgwarner departments.
- Achieve department cost and performance objectives in line with existing strategies.
- Support the Finance team in resolving any invoice pricing discrepancies.
