STBBI is seeking a compassionate individual with an understanding of First Nations dynamics and history to perform Community Support Worker.

Job Description

MHS has received project funding to provide comprehensive services for the prevention of HIV. The employee will promote health and wellness, and provide education, support, and resources for people living with HIV and to the community to prevent the spread of HIV. It is important to recognize how the social determinants of health affect individuals living with or how they can put people at risk for HIV infections. Co-Morbidities such as addiction to alcohol or substances also play a role in the spread of HIV. The individual providing this support will have a good understanding of HIV, addictions, and resources available to community members.
