Community Engagement Advisor

Help drive meaningful community engagement that informs Council decisions and strengthens community outcomes.

The Role

As a Community Engagement Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of effective community engagement across Council. Reporting to the Community Engagement Lead, you will assist in developing and implementing engagement activities that align with Council’s Community Engagement Policy and Strategy.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver engagement processes that are inclusive, accessible and meaningful. This role involves coordinating engagement activities, contributing to project planning, analysing community feedback, and ensuring best-practice engagement approaches are applied across a range of initiatives.
