Serve as a Community Cultural Facilitator, using your knowledge of Indigenous culture to support tenant engagement. Create a space that feels safe and welcoming for cultural discussions.
In this unique position, your focus will be on fostering community through cultural activities and providing support to tenants. You will ensure a respectful environment while addressing crises and updating communication logs. Your responsibilities will include maintaining communal spaces and encouraging community participation in various cultural events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage tenants in cultural and community activities
• Provide a safe and respectful gathering space
• Offer supportive counseling and manage crises effectively
• Promote social engagement and building relationships
• Uphold building policies and monitor tenant behaviors
Requirements:
• Expertise in Indigenous history and cultural practices
• Experience in informal counseling and community support
