Commodity Manager
Planning, directing, and supervising all purchasing activities for thedirectmaterials that the organization purchases.Comply withits price, quality, environmental, and ethics controls. Research,identify,evaluateand select suppliers. Negotiate terms for major purchases within established authority limits.Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to reducelong termpurchasing costs. Select and manage relationships with the main suppliers so that the organization has access to satisfactory services. Developlong termplans for organizational supply to minimize risk and maximize value.Resolve disputes and shortfalls with suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery tosatisfactoryconclusion.
