Commis Chef

Overview

C&N Recruitment are working with an award-winning restaurant based in Harpenden. We are looking to recruit a Commis chef who is keen and eager to learn, with a real passion for food.

The Head chef has worked in Michelin starred restaurants and wants to pass on his knowledge to help his brigade be the best. If you have worked in a kitchen before, have the passion and keen and eager then this is the role for you. You will need to be able to work evenings and weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and work with some of the finest ingredients on offer.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team in daily prep and during service under guidance from the Head Chef
• Assist with food preparation, plating and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Learn and develop cooking techniques and best practices in a fast-paced environment
