Combined Laboratory / X-Ray Technologist I

As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I at the Westlock Healthcare Centre, you will perform site specific manual and automated laboratory procedures and diagnostic imaging exams, including X-ray examinations, ECGs, and related duties in accordance with standards set by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, and the Health Professions Act. You will be a member of the inter‑professional team, responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, preparing patients for examinations, venipuncture, micropuncture, routine equipment maintenance, supply management, and quality control procedures.
