Job Title: COâ Welder Job Specification: COâ Welder Job Purpose To perform high-quality COâ (MIG/MAG) welding on engineering components, structures, and fabricated assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, company standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Perform COâ (MIG/MAG) welding on mild steel and other approved materials. Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions. Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting components before welding. Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment. Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Repair defective welds where necessary. Use measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain welding equipment and report faults promptly. Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures. Keep the work area clean and organized.
