Drive innovations as a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in CNC programming at our Abbotsford facility. Focus on continuous improvement and tooling optimization in a fully onsite role.
This position reports directly to the Director of Product Development, where you will lead initiatives for cycle time reduction and enhancement of manufacturing processes. Your strong technical knowledge in CNC machining will be vital for collaboration with product engineers to ensure manufacturability from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute cycle time reductions through hands-on updates
• Optimize tooling selections and quantify production impact
• Design fixturing and improve existing setups for quality
• Collaborate in product design phases for efficiency
• Develop work instructions for clear shop floor operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and GibbsCAM essential
