The CNC Operator sets up, operates, and maintains CNC machinery to produce high-quality metal components that meet precise project specifications and industry standards. This role focuses on custom work for a variety of applications, often including trailers and cabs, in a dynamic fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements and production sequences.
- Set up CNC equipment, including plasma tables, lasers, press brakes, lathes, and mills, ensuring correct tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Load and unload raw materials and workpieces, ensuring proper alignment, secure positioning, and safe handling at all times.
