You will perform tool changes, offsets, program loading, and minor program edits while maintaining strict quality, safety, and documentation standards in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate Hardinge turning centers to produce highly precise parts for military aircraft equipment.
+ Perform tool changes, set tools, and make machine offsets to ensure accurate and consistent machining.
+ Load CNC programs, establish work holding positions, and make minor program edits as needed.
+ Edit individual tool feed rates to establish appropriate Surface Feet per Minute (SFM) and related chip loads.
