Job Description

Position Summary:
The CNC & Laser Cutting Machine Operator / Setup Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and programming of CNC and laser cutting machines. This role includes the design and fabrication of custom holding tools and fixtures to support production efficiency and precision. Experience with robotic programming and integration is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation & Setup
Set up and operate CNC and laser cutting machines (fiber and/or CO2) to produce high-precision components.

Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.

Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently.
Programming
Develop and optimize CNC and laser cutting manual programs using G codes and/or CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
