Cloud Support Engineer(DB)

• Experience in large scale SQLServer cloud migrations
• 5+ year experience with SQLServer
• Experience migrating databases to RDS and EC2
• Ability to enhance, develop and follow database migration runbooks
• An understanding of security controls from a service delivery viewpoint
• Experience working in a regulated/Prod environment
• Experience working with mission critical environments
• Ability to approach problems in a thorough and logical manner
• Ability to be self driven in the migration and operate with autonomy
• Experience working with AWS platforms and services
• Ability to write T-SQL commands

The following skills would be advantages:

• Experience working with AWS Managed Services (AMS)
• Scripting in languages such as: PowerShell, Python
• Migrating SSxS to RDS SQLServer will be advantagous
