Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly and helpful team here at The Central Surgery. We are looking for an independent prescriber who has experience of working in General Practice. An understanding of QOF indicators and experience of long term condition management of Diabetes would also be desirable.
Main duties of the job
A typical day in surgery will involve:
Reviewing acute prescription requests
Medicines Reconciliation of discharge and clinic letters
LTC and medication reviews

The Central Surgery cares for around 7500 patients in the Oadby and Wigston area. We are active members of the Oadby and Wigston PCN and are rated as Good by the CQC. Our current clinical team consists of GP's, Minor illness ANP's, an ANP specialising in care home and frailty patients, Practice Pharmacists and a full nursing team as well as extended PCN based roles.
