:Schedule:
Monday–Friday with variable 4–8 hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rotating weekends and holidays: 4-hour shift (5:00 AM – 9:00 AM) plus on-call hours
Phlebotomy position with outpatient, inpatient and ED draws - some lab duties
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Obtains specimens from inpatients and outpatients following proper identification protocols and appropriate techniques to maintain the integrity of the specimens, and prioritizes collections to meet established turnaround times.
Supports patient testing by performing waived testing, loading analyzers, and performing lab functions, as needed, to meet patient demands.
Adheres to OSHA and ThedaCare department policies for specimen collection and handling to ensure a safe work environment.
