Job Description
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in hallways, offices, restrooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
- Refill soap, paper towels, and other restroom supplies
- Dust and clean furniture, windows, and surfaces
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Lock and unlock doors and perform security checks as needed
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is required
- Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience a plus
- Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment and supplies
