The City of Edmonton is hiring LRT Cleaners to ensure all aspects of the trains and stations are meticulously cleaned and maintained. Your efforts will not only enhance the transit system but also contribute to a positive community image.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sweep and sanitize seats, floors, and railings
• Thoroughly clean train windows and walls by hand
• Perform snow and ice removal from train surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness in train service areas
• Assist with damage reports and lost items
Requirements:
• Must have completed Grade 10 or related experience
• Previous experience in cleaning roles is required
• Industrial or mechanical setting experience preferred
• A valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license is mandatory
• Ability to work flexible 8-hour shifts, including weekends
