**School Aide (Instructional Aide)**
**Position Summary**
The School Aide provides instructional and/or behavioral support to students under the supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, or designated supervisor. Responsibilities may also include assisting with personal care, mobility, and therapeutic needs as directed by a rehabilitation specialist, social worker, or other licensed healthcare professional.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Must adhere to all applicable professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification (if required)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if required)
+ Current health certificate in accordance with state or contract requirements
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
