Class 2 Truck Drivers

Job Overview

Food delivery business operating 7 days a week with a rotating day/night roster. These roles involve a lot of manual handling and constant heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and load trucks in East Tamaki, deliver food throughout the Auckland area.
• Complete deliveries in a timely manner and ensure returns are entered into the system on a daily basis.
• Work day/night shifts: 6 pm – 1 am, midnight – 8:30 am, and 3 am – 11:30 am.
• Maintain a minimum of 35 hours per week, guaranteed.
• Handle and lift heavy items regularly.
• Operate during public holidays and long weekends.
• Monitor vehicle speed and wash vehicles twice a month.

Requirements

• Class 2 Driver’s license.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in food handling or delivery.
• Additional training will be provided to suitable candidates.
