JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our large EPC client is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer – Substations to join their team in Calgary or Toronto to support the substation engineering group. The successful candidate will lead and execute civil and structural engineering activities for transmission and distribution substations up to 500 kV, supporting projects from initial site development and foundation design through detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning.
This role includes the design and review of substation grading plans, drainage systems, access roads, equipment foundations, control building foundations, cable trench systems, steel support structures, and associated structural components.
