What You’ll Do Here:
Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, subcontractors, and consultants in compliance with provincial occupational health and safety legislation.
Promote safety in all activities and participate in safe work plan development, hazard assessments, FLRAs, and crew mentorship.
Oversee daily on-site construction activities and approve daily production records while reporting on project progress.
Provide senior field leadership for major hydroelectric and heavy civil construction activities.
Ensure construction activities comply with design requirements.
Track and report project quality control, resource requirements, and customer or labour relations.
Ensure project materials and workmanship meet established quality standards.
Ensure Superintendent(s) comply with all assignments, project policies, and procedures.
