Civil Structural Engineer (Nuclear) (Thornhill)

Role Overview

We invite a Civil Structural Engineer – Nuclear to join our Global Engineering, Advisory and Science team in Ontario. In this role you will support technical and feasibility studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, quality surveillance, commissioning and asset management for Canada’s most significant nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Define civil and structural design criteria and prepare specifications, calculations, and MTOs to meet nuclear project and regulatory requirements.
• Produce detailed civil and structural designs for concrete foundations, piling, steel structures and related systems.
• Develop and review structural and dynamic models (including FEA) for complex loads, dynamic foundations and rotating equipment.
• Support design planning, scheduling and cost control activities aligned with the Project Plan.
