Civil Maintainer

JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of a Civil Maintainer.

Reporting to the First Line Manager, Civil Maintenance, this position is responsible to work in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and regulations, performing civil and materials management trade duties on a shift or day basis to build, maintain, and repair associated structures and equipment within generating facilities and properties. This description is not all-inclusive and does not limit management’s ability to assign work in accordance with NPP-4 and Article 8 of the Collective Agreement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Install, fabricate, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, service, maintain, test and overhaul minor mechanical equipment and building/structural components, taking appropriate preventative or corrective action.
