Summary About the Position: The Senior Engineer is responsible for the research, analysis, scope, content, and accuracy of installation out loading capability studies, ports for national defense studies, OCONUS ports, and special joint operational and strategic mobility planning studies. Responsibilities Develops and applies standardized methodologies to evaluate transportation infrastructure capability for roads/highways, rail networks, and seaports to support military transportation requirements. Makes recommendations for infrastructure enhancements to support the improvement of transportation nodes and systems Applies expertise in engineering to integrate into cross-functional teams that are focused on assessing the capabilities and limitations of strategic transportation nodes.
