The Civil Engineer provides important engineering expertise for the MCDOT TIP and MIP (Transportation and Maintenance Improvement Program). The primary role is to assist the Senior Standards and Review Engineer with maintaining engineering standards, construction specifications, and standard details. This is the journey-level class of the registered civil engineering series; incumbents are responsible for complex assignments requiring technical proficiency and exercising initiative and independent judgment within defined technical and procedural limits.<...
