Job Description
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed design drawings, layouts, and profiles for land development and mining infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Produce detailed design drawings, layouts, and profiles for different types of:
- Roads
- Underground services (such as fire protection systems, sanitary sewer systems, storm sewer systems, etc.)
- Ponds and basins
- Water conduits (open channels and pipe conduits)
- Possess some knowledge of soil mechanics and hydraulics.
- Perform calculations for grading, earthwork volumes, and stormwater management systems.
- Work with Project Managers, engineers, and surveyors to ensure design accuracy.
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Interpret survey data, geotechnical reports, and field information to inform design.
