Children's Occupational Therapist

Overview

Lewishamare offers a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to gain experience within children’s services. The vacancy is for an initial 3–6 months with potential for extension. Full‑time or part‑time contract with a manageable caseload and further training is available. Suitable for candidates with paediatric or adult experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, treatment and management to address children and family needs, based on sound clinical reasoning.
• Support the development of training packages for school staff, parents and other professionals as required.
• Support children/young people in identifying concerns and implementing effective therapy advice.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paediatric occupational therapist (adults experience accepted).
• HCPC registration.
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (obtained by the employer).
