DUTIES

• Develop and execute traditional Indian food recipes while contributing creative ideas for menu innovation.

• Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian curries, tandoori dishes, and accompaniments to a fine dining standard and demonstrate cooking techniques to Cooks and other junior kitchen staffs.

• Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation stages.

• Check stock levels, food deliveries and storage items to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times for the service each day.

• Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness in line with HACCP standards are always maintained during the kitchen operation.

• Train and supervise cooks and junior kitchen staffs on various food preparation techniques and skills.
