The Horse and Farrier is a freehold 18th Century inn located in the beautiful village of Dacre, just 2 miles from Ullswater. The pub has a 35 seater restaurant with an additional bar area that can seat up to 20, and during spring and summer the beer garden opens - offering outdoor dining. The Horse and Farrier concentrates on home made, top quality pub food using seasonal, fresh and where possible local produce.
We are seeking an experienced chef to join our team (at least one years experience in a kitchen). The role would include working alongside our small kitchen team working the larder and pastry sections of the kitchen , plating starters and desserts, working and aiding other chefs on the pass - ensuring all dishes are sent out at a high standard whilst maintaining current food legislation and safer food better business practices.
