Job Description
This is an on-site, contract Chef role based in Gauteng, South Africa. The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing daily menus, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, according to client requirements and dietary needs. Daily tasks include sourcing and ordering ingredients, managing stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of food items. The Chef will cook and present meals to a high standard, maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations. The role also involves coordinating with other staff, managing time efficiently during service, and adjusting menus based on feedback, seasonality, and budget.
