Job Summary:

• As a member of the healthcare team, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) works interdependently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to the patient.


• The CMA assists patients and their families in all aspects of their clinical interaction with their provider, and is an integral part of the Care Team, ensuring all patients have optimal health outcomes.
• The CMA is responsible for performing both administrative and clinical skills in the medical care environment.
• Reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.
• As an FQHC, providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment at the JRF Community Health Center, unless a religious or medical exemption can be presented and granted by Employer.
