Job Description
**Amentum** is seeking a **Cement Mason** for **North of Las Vegas, NV.**
**Purpose and Scope:**
Reporting to a Cement Mason Journeyman, the incumbent works with concrete by placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete in engineering, construction and renovation projects. Position is represented by a Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**
+ Journeyman
+ Must be able to place, level, and finish concrete by using power screed machine or by Rodding with straight edge.
+ Must be proficient in the use of hand tools such as bull floats, hand floats, hand trowels, etc.
+ Must be able to run gas-powered trowel machine, grinder, bushing machine, etc.
+ Must be familiar with placing/finishing on-grade concrete via slip-form paver.
+ Must be able to spray curing and confirm compounds.
