Job Description
*Intermodal truck driver*
*Average pay:* $1,090-$1,330 weekly
*Home time:* Daily
*Experience:* 3 months or greater CDL experience
Overview
* Haul containers secured to company-owned chassis.
* 95% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook.
* Drive in and out of railyards within FL, GA and SC.
Pay and bonus potential
* Hourly pay and load pay.
* $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
* Paid orientation.
* Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
* Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.
Qualifications
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
* Tanker endorsement is strongly preferred.
* HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
* Live within 20 miles of Savannah, GA.
* Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
