School Catering Assistant – Term Time Only
Location: ST4 & ST5 area
Days: Monday to Friday (term time only)
Hours: 10am – 2pm, 10:30am – 2:30pm, or 11am – 3pm (dependent on school)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
What you'll be doing:
- Helping prepare and serve food and drinks
- Operating the tills during lunch service
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Unpacking and storing deliveries
- Washing dishes and keeping kitchen areas tidy
- Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff
What we're looking for:
- Food Hygiene Level 1 qualification (dated within the last 12 months)
- Happy to support with cleaning and general kitchen tasks
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
