About the role
As a Catering Assistant, you will be a vital part of the team, supporting our kitchen in basic food preparation and delivering excellent service during the lunchtime rush.
Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Work on the tills during service (full training provided).
- Front-Line Service: Provide friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
- Essential Support: Assist the team with basic food preparation.
- Maintaining Standards: Ensure a safe, clean kitchen environment and meet Health and Safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Team player who thrives in a busy environment.
- Previous catering or fast‑paced service experience.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
