Casual Transportation Associate (Driver)

Overview

The Transportation Associate is an operations and logistics position within the Food Security department, responsible for the collection and transportation of product for distribution through The Food Security Distribution Centre. The individual must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with our valued grocery partners, donors, members of the public, fellow staff and volunteers across 3 locations and several departments to ensure the efficient collection, organization and redistribution of product. Safety and efficiency are key focuses for the Transportation Associate in all aspects of their position. The Transportation Associate must possess and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective operations with our staff and volunteers, specifically the Food Rescue Manager, Programming Manager, and Guest Services Coordinator.
