Job Description

The Slip Tender supports the traffic and vessel operations at the terminal by maintaining the terminal clean and locating trailers at the terminal. The main responsibility is using the computer control system to operate the ramp.

Note: Due to business needs, this position is required to be fully on-site at 7700 Hopcott Road, Delta.

What You'll Do

• Operates the ramp by using hydraulics and computer control systems.
• Stays in the booth each time a ship comes in a slip (2-5 minutes minimum, three times a day).
• Assists with loading store items that were delivered to the terminal onboard the vessel.
• Maintains the terminal or yard clean and organize.
• Helps with trailer locating.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
