Casual Operator & General hand

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at Fisherman Island, the Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, front-end loaders and other mobile plant equipment used by Qube as part of its operations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Warehouse loading / unloading bulk material and general cargo. 
• Inspecting equipment for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Planning and meeting receival & delivery schedules.
• Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Comply with operational procedures and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
• Manoeuvre equipment into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
