Overview
Casual Labourer - Facilities (Temporary Full Time). Department: Community Services Department – Property & Facilities Division. Location: Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre (QSWC) – 265 Cannifton Road, Belleville. Hours: 40 hours per week, varied shifts. Term: Up to 200 days in a 12-month period. Salary: $25.15 per hour, plus $1.85 shift premium where applicable. Closing Date: July 13, 2026 at 4:30 PM.
Position type and general purpose: Reporting to the Facilities Supervisors, the Casual Labourer will perform maintenance and repairs to buildings and structures, with a focus on exterior building repairs, drywall repairs, and painting.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Operate city vehicles and equipment as required
- Operate various construction equipment and machinery
- Maintain building cleanliness and sanitation (lobbies, washrooms, hallways, meeting rooms, and the outside perimeter)
