Overview
Maxville Manor is a 114-bed long-term care home located in Maxville, Ontario, 40 minutes east of Ottawa or 30 minutes north of Cornwall. We are seeking a casual cook to join our Maxville Manor Team. This position will include additional hours through call-in shifts.
Under the direction of the Food Services Manager, the Casual Cook will be responsible for quality control, preparation, audits and sanitation associated with all meal service in our home.
Qualifications
- Candidate must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Successful completion of a recognized Culinary Program is mandatory or equivalent
- Certificate of qualification as a Cook issued by an authority meeting the requirements of the Ontario Long Term Care Act, or
- Post-secondary diploma in food and nutrition management or a post-secondary degree in food and nutrition.
- Red Seal Certificate preferred.
