The Workers Compensation Board (WCB) helps to build safe and healthy workplaces in PEI and provides benefits and services to reduce the impact of work-related injuries.
The Case Coordinator position utilizes a client centered approach in managing claims of workers who are work disabled due to a workplace injury. The incumbent works with employers, injured workers, and health care providers to assist in achieving a safe and timely return to work using an established work disability prevention model. The Case Coordinator coordinates the activities of internal and external resources, in planning and executing recovery and return to work.
The Case Coordinator interprets and applies WCB legislation, policies, and procedures.
