The Cardiac Diagnostics department within SHC is currently recruiting a Cardiology Technologist I. Reporting to the Unit Manager of Cardiac Diagnostics and Clinics, the Cardiology Technologist is responsible for the performance of various cardiac tests, understanding and recognizing the pathophysiology associated with these test results, and processing the resulting data. The Cardiology Technologist will demonstrate proficiency in performing electrocardiograms (ECGs), applying, processing and reviewing data associated with Holter and event monitors, using blood pressure monitors, and working collaboratively with practitioners to facilitate stress testing. The candidate must possess strong intrapersonal skills, clear communication in stressful situations, and a meticulous attention to detail.
