Job Summary Geisinger's Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join Geisinger Community Medical Center located at Olive Street in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute spans a 45-county service area and has over 100 physicians and more than 75 advanced practitioners.

Geisinger Heart Institute features multiple accredited chest pain centers, a nationally recognized regional STEMI PCI network, complex arrhythmia ablation, a full range of coronary, vascular and structural heart interventions and an advanced heart failure program.

The ideal candidate will:

• Collaborate with the physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service

• Demonstrates autonomy through patient evaluations, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care
