AECOM is looking to recruit a Candidate Engineer – Geotechnical . Responsibilities Eagerness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to ground engineering and infrastructure projects. Assist with site investigations: organising fieldwork, logging soils and rocks, supervising contractors, compiling factual information for reporting. Apply fundamental soil and rock mechanics principles to real‑world design problems under senior guidance. Develop technical skills in geotechnical design of foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and earthworks. Produce clear, well‑structured technical documents such as desk studies, factual reports, field logs, and preliminary design notes. Learn industry‑standard software: geotechnical modelling tools, slope stability programs, and CAD platforms. Communicate confidently with colleagues, ask questions, and present work effectively.
