The Camera Framework Tooling team in Camera & Photos provides software tools to enable photo/video data collection, image quality assessment and tuning, imaging algorithm development etc. We also work closely with the Camera Framework team. The Camera Framework team is at the heart of the camera capture stack, and provides the camera foundation APIs and underlying real-time multithreaded media pipeline powering clients like iOS’s built-in Camera application, thousands of third-party applications, and even AR-based experiences.
