Call for Expression of Interest – ICREA Research Professors 2026

Bioengineering Institute of Technology (BIT), Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) The Bioengineering Institute of Technology (BIT) at UIC is seeking outstanding researchers to prepare a joint application to the ICREA Research Professors 2026 Call.

We invite Expressions of Interest from internationally recognised researchers in Life & Medical Sciences, with strong profiles in:

• Regenerative Medicine
• Advanced 3D Models
• Biosensors
• Medical Devices

Candidates should hold a PhD or MD-PhD, demonstrate leadership in translational or bioengineering research, and show potential for strong collaboration with existing BIT UIC research groups.

BIT-UIC commits to supporting the selected candidate in the ICREA call, offering start-up funding, research space, access to core facilities, and administrative support.
