Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee calibration activities (in-house, on-site, or external).
- Arrange appointments for testing equipment that is due for calibration.
- Ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated according to required specifications and standards.
- Issue shipment forms, pack, and label equipment for return after calibration.
- Maintain and update records for all documentation related to the calibration process.
- Conduct detailed inspections, calibrations, adjustments, and testing/repairs of equipment.
- Oversee and assess the effectiveness of calibration procedures.
- Perform calibration and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments.
- Document calibration results and generate calibration certificates.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated within due dates and maintain proper records.
