We are currently searching for a Junior level and Senior level CAD Technician to support our Southwest Region located in Austin, Houston, McKinney, Rockwall, Round Rock, San Antonio, or Tyler, TX.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordination and oversight of geometric design projects.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide assistance to engineers using OpenRoads Designer to create roadway plan sets and perform minor design work on roadway projectsContribute to project production sheets by adding dimensions and laying out plans, title and detail sheets on production sets of plansPrepare minor mathematical calculations and quantity calculations for roadway/bridge projectsWork with engineers to develop 3D models using both OpenRoads DesignerResearch applicable design codes and guidelines to ensure design complianceResearch design options and documents fin...
