Viberoptix, part of the Fibrus Group is a fast‑growing, leading telecommunications company delivering frontline services to fibre network providers across the UK and Ireland.
We are looking for Cabling Operatives to support our network build in Cumbria.
Responsibilities
- Upkeep and maintain fibre infrastructure to current PIA standards
- Underground and overhead installations
- Work within a team and successfully deliver PIA installation works
- Install fibre optic cables
- Fault find on fibre network infrastructures
- Troubleshoot individual and wider network issues
- Adhere to all health and safety practices
- Use equipment and procedures correctly
- Maintain all tools, equipment and vehicles to a high standard
- Help maximise the maintenance schedule and meet strict deadlines
