We have multiple openings for Data Center Technicians supporting the buildout of a large data center in Sandston, VA. These technicians will be responsible for IT cabling on a large scale. We have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for this facility and are seeking candidates with 6–12 months of hands-on experience pulling cable, working with fiber, or supporting low-voltage installations.
Role Responsibilities:
+ Assist with running, terminating, and installing IT cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Coaxial, and Fiber Optics).
+ Install grounding for server racks, equipment, and cabling as required (heavy Cisco environment).
+ Perform fire-stopping procedures on firewalls, install sleeves, and support low-voltage device installations.
+ Terminate low-voltage devices and IT hardware (cameras, servers, switches, etc.).
+ Follow blueprints precisely to ensure work is completed correctly.
